Rocio Rubio graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelors in Business
Administration in Marketing in 2012. Since then, Rocio has dedicated her career to solely assisting
nonprofit organizations reach organizational goals. Rocio’s versatile work background includes
fundraising, event planning, donor engagement and marketing. Currently, Rocio works at Holocaust
Museum Houston as the Assistant Director of Corporate Relations.
Since 2015, Rocio has volunteered for The Children’s Heart Foundation primarily as the Social Media
Advisor for the Texas Region and supporting various events and fundraisers. In 2022, Rocio chaired the
Inaugural Houston Congenital Heart Walk, which raised over $45,000 and hosted over 450 guests.
In her space time, Rocio enjoys listening to live music, traveling and spending time with her family and
dog, Daisy.
