Maria Trigosso has been working in the field of education as a French Teacher since 2002.  She earned her Bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University in French Secondary Education, a Master’s degree from C.W. Post, Long Island University in Technology in Education & her Advanced Certificate in School Leadership from St. John’s University. Maria’s daughter, Cosette was diagnosed in utero with Tricuspid Atresia, Hypoplastic Right Heart Syndrome, along with a VSD and Pulmonary Stenosis. After two open heart surgeries, Cosette is living a vibrant life as a five year old with Fontan circulation. Maria became actively involved as a volunteer with the Children’s Heart Foundation in 2019 while living in Charleston, South Carolina as a way to spread awareness of congenital heart defects, and to give back to an organization that offers so much hope for heart warriors and their future.
