Izabela Cianci is a recent graduate from the University of Florida’s College of Human Health and Performance. She earned her bachelor of Science in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology with a specialization in exercise science. Izabela started with the Children’s Heart Foundation during her freshman year of college when she joined her collegiate chapter as a volunteer and grew to become President of her chapter. After serving as a chapter president and graduating she wanted to remain connected to this amazing organization and has continued her involvement on the Florida Region Board. As Izabela applies to medical school she is working as a Medical Assistant and working on research through the University of Florida's Health Shands Hospital. She hopes to not only spread awareness and education for Congenital Heart Defects but also aim to grow the collegiate involvement on a national level.
