Brandy Bowlus is a Registered Nurse and Color Street Director.  She received her Bachelor’s of Nursing degree from Jacksonville University and has worked in adult Med/Surg, Gastroenterology, & as a care manager for critically injured workers’ compensation patients.  Brandy & her husband, Josh, have two children - Owen (5) and Ethan (3) and reside in Jacksonville, FL. Brandy’s son, Ethan, was diagnosed with multiple complex heart defects at 18 weeks in utero including, Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, aortic atresia, and mitral stenosis. After multiple open heart surgeries, Ethan is a thriving toddler with a Fontan circulation. Brandy is dedicated to being involved with The Children’s Heart Foundation because she is passionate about advocacy for CHD warriors, furthering CHD research, and improving long-term outcomes for all children born with CHD.
