Jane Lee, PhD, MSW

Congenital heart disease has profoundly shaped Jane’s life and career trajectory. She was born with Tetralogy of Fallot, which was repaired during infancy, and she has had two pulmonary valve replacements since then. These experiences and related events have motivated Jane to advance efforts to promote health access and preventive health care. She is currently an Associate Professor at the Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work at the University of Southern California and focuses her research on addressing health disparities among racial and ethnic minority and immigrant communities. Jane is an alumni of the University of Notre Dame (BA) and received her MSW from Columbia University and PhD from New York University.
