Kelly Wittich
Kelly Wittich, PT, MPH oversees all aspects of health benefits for United Methodist clergy and lay workers at the not for profit Wespath Benefits and Investments, serving over 10,000 clergy and lay workers. This includes oversight of the $150+ million annual plan budget and reserve management, vendor management, strategic planning and plan design, and operations. Previously at this organization, she managed the entire well-being program from concept, to planning, implementation, and ongoing monitoring and revision. Prior to coming to Wespath, Kelly practiced acute care and cardiac physical therapy at the University of Illinois Medical Center and taught in the PT doctoral program at the University of Illinois—Chicago (UIC). She maintains her physical therapy licensure in Illinois.
Kelly received her Master’s degree in public health (community health and health promotion) from UIC and her Master of Science degree in physical therapy from Boston University. She has a certification in health plan navigation and is working toward her certification as an employee benefits specialist. She has volunteered for the Children’s Heart Foundation in a number of capacities, from event planning to social media. She is currently the leader of the Illinois region. Kelly also volunteers as a Wish Ambassador for Make-A-Wish Illinois and is a Jump Rope for Heart event coordinator at a local elementary school.
