Danielle Pradas
Danielle is a Partner with the law firm of Abrams Fensterman, located in Lake Success, NY. She primarily practices Elder Law and she handles all aspects of guardianship proceedings for both individuals and institutional clients, including nursing homes and hospitals. Danielle holds a BA from Fordham University and a JD from Hofstra University.
Danielle is married to Joe Pradas and they have three children - Zachary (age 6), Olivia (age 4), and Jake (age 2). She became involved with The Children’s Heart Foundation in 2015 shortly after her daughter, Olivia, was born with the congenital heart defect, Tetralogy of Fallot. At six weeks old, Olivia underwent open heart surgery at NY Columbia Presbyterian Hospital to repair the defect. Surgery was a success and Olivia is thriving. However, Olivia is expected to need at least one more surgery in her lifetime for a pulmonary valve replacement. Danielle has volunteered with the New York region for a number of years and is currently the NY region leader. Under Danielle’s leadership, The Children’s Heart Foundation was accepted into the NYC Marathon as a Charity Partner for the first time ever. Danielle also rang the NASDAQ opening bell on February 19, 2019 and her remarks were broadcasted in Times Square.
